Abstract

In his lecture "Writing With Scissors" Graham Rawle talked about the relationship between image and text in his work and how, by introducing a visual element to his fiction writing, an extra layer of information comes into play, which can carry visual clues for both the reader and the protagonist as well as providing a visual representation of the narrator’s personality, evolving state of mind, and the emotional content of a scene.
