Abstract

Choosing an appropriate packet traffic scheduling mechanism is a critical element in a case of enhancing quality of service over 5G mobile networks, especially, in the near future cellular networks are expected to face challenges due to the massive number of smart devices data traffic rate with various QoS requirements, and specifically, 5G mobile networks are anticipated to offer higher bandwidth with the best quality of experience among the smart devices and users. The main impact on quality of service in the near future that will be due to billions of smart devices such as smart-phones, smart healthcare system, and smart traffic monitoring, they require different priorities in terms of using 5G mobile networks, therefore, present a comparison of the packet traffic scheduling mechanisms applied based on data traffic slicing model through relay node base station. In this paper,we proposed data traffic slicing model along with the comparison of packet traffic scheduling mechanisms such as weighted fair queuing, priority queuing and first-in-first-out in the 5G mobile network.
