Abstract

This chapter oﬀers a personal reﬂection and part narrative on the intellectual and academic inﬂuence of Ivor’s work and thought. In a sense, this ‘story’ begins before we’d ever met, or I’d even heard of his work, yet reﬂects areas of commonality, trajectories and passions, which we are now as likely to discuss during personal interactions, as any academic concerns.
