    Research output: Other contribution

    Abstract

The output of an experiment in examining writing processes and practices, particularly challenging the principle of beginning a story with a "concept" and developing a story through an exploratory process. There is evidence of the working process, drafts, and guiding principles to develop this feature-length drama. The story is a heart-breaking, honest drama about the bravery and challenges a retired couple goes through when they decide to separate (aka ‘grey divorce’), and the effect this has on their adult children who have to help their aging parents find new homes whilst dealing with their own grief.
