Description

The main objective of this project is to explore the potential of new information sources (Crossref-Retraction Watch, PubPeer, online social networks, blogs and news media) to study the incidence of errors and bad practices in the academic literature.

The chief aim is to obtain more context about the incidence of misconduct practices considering the collaboration between researchers and organisations, the role of editorial boards responding to these practices and the comments and opinions expound in web-based platforms.

The results of this project will improve and help the identification and correction of misconduct cases.
