Co-designing a media messaging campaign in support of safely accessing the Internet for adults with learning disabilities.

This project worked with adults with lived experience to explore how best to use social media and video messaging to co-produce a film that articulated the dangers and opportunities of the internet. It was aimed at adults with learning disabilities in light of a gap identified by regional authority care providers.

Key findings

The team revealed key design messages and visual methods to convey both positive and warning messages in ways that were most accessible to diverse target audiences with complex needs.
