Description
The proposed project aims to enhance clinical leadership skills of nurses and care assistants within the residential care sector.
We offer a transferable approach to strengthen clinical leadership in practice so that skills are strengthened to ensure both nurses and care assistants are able to improve the quality of life for people in residential care. An innovative strategy to enhance learning and development of both nurses and care assistants in the care homes sector will draw on educational packages that use simulation.
The overarching aim is to design a tailored staff development programme that meets the distinctive training and educational needs and challenges of three care home settings that will then be employed and tested.
