Description
Arts DRIVA is an exploration into how arts and cultural processes accelerate innovation and amplify value in creative tech projects.
Arts DRIVA seeks to explore through action research:
> how creative arts and cultural processes accelerate innovation in technology
> how creative innovation releases value from data
> live events and exhibitions as drivers of innovation and inclusive engagement
Arts DRIVA has two elements:
1. Arts DRIVA @ This is a collaboration with Wired Sussex, Brighton Digital Festival and Lighthouse: The collaboration with Wired Sussex supports 13 artist-in-residencies at the Fusebox. The collaboration with BDF and Lighthouse resulted in a co-curated exhibition called Desire Lines with an international programme of artists exploring data in their creative technology projects.
2. DRIVA arts DRIVA (DAD)This is a £1.3m project funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Arts Council England (ACE) through the Creative Local Growth Fund.
