Supervisory Interests

I welcome the opportunity to supervise research in the field of women’s health, behavioral science, and public health. My interests particularly lie in exploring how lifestyle, cultural, and contextual factors influence women’s wellbeing across different stages of life. I am keen to support research that seeks to develop and evaluate culturally relevant, evidence-based health promotion interventions. Additionally, based on my background in education, leadership, and change management, I am interested in supervising research that examines the role of leadership in sustainable educational improvement and fostering positive student outcomes.

Research interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of women's health, behavioral science, and public health, with a particular focus on understanding lifestyle factors that influence the wellbeing of women. Being Indian in origin, but born and brought up in the UAE, and now living in the UK, I am particularly interested in exploring cultural and contextual factors that shape health behaviors during a women's lifecycle and developing evidence-based culturally relevant health promotion interventions to promote healthier lifestyles and improved outcomes. Furthermore building on my background in Education (leadership and change management), I am particularly interested in how leadership and education meet, and also how we can embed sustainable improvement student outcomes.
