Approach to teaching

Central to my approach to teaching is the building of bridges from the learner's experience towards areas of expertise they wish to develop. My experience in Higher Education has spanned the teaching of undergraduates in every year of study, taught postgraduates and the support of doctoral students and mentoring of academic staff. During the last two decades I have worked alone and in teaching teams to construct learning with students in various diverse business fields including HRM, Business Strategy, Research Methodology and Learning and Development. I have led postgraduate studies and designed new modules and full undergraduate courses based on problem-based/enquiry-based and experiential learning.
