Scholarly biography

Sohail Kamran is a Senior Lecturer in Markeitng at School of Business and Law, University of Brighton, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. Marketing degree from the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland and an MSc Management degree from Brunel University, London, UK.  Sohail is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK.

Since 2006, Sohail has been involved in delivering a range of marketing related modules at UG and PG level; module leadership; research supervision; students’ assessment; counselling; curriculum design and revision; programme development and review; and academic leadership.

His research interests include consumer vulnerability, consumer exclusion/ Inclusion, vulnerable consumers, qualitative research, Trsnsformative Service Reserarch and consumers wellbeing. His work has appeared in reputable marketing Journals such as, Service Industries Journal ; International Journal of consumer studies ; International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of financial services marketing ; Tourism and Hospitality research, among others.
