Research interests
My primary research interests are related to instructional design and technology, problem based learning, online learning and individual differences. In particular, I am interested in teaching online and teachers’ post digital competencies. I am also very interested in the interdisciplinary studies on psychosocial variables in technology use.
Scholarly biography
I am a visiting research fellow at School of Education, Sport and Health. I am a professor of instructional technology at Aydin Adnan Menderes University in Türkiye. I was Deputy Director at Distance Education Application and Research Centre (2019-2023). I was visiting researcher at University of North Dakota in US (2011) and University of Pristina in Kosova (2013-2014). I am currently working on a project with Prof. Dr. Michael Jopling on student teachers' digital teaching competencies, which is sponsored by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye.
