Research interests
My research is in environmental and engineering fluid dynamics, focusing on developing and applying high-fidelity computational tools - particularly Large Eddy Simulation (LES) - to model complex flow behaviour. I study open-channel flows, pipe flows, and boundary layer flows, with applications that bridge both natural systems and engineered environments. This includes examining the influence of bed roughness and channel geometry on turbulence behaviour, as well as exploring strategies for drag reduction using various flow control methods. My research has direct implications for flood risk management, sediment transport, aquatic habitat conservation, and broader environmental sustainability.
