Approach to teaching

My approach to teaching is to attempt to enable students to learn in whichever modality suits them best. Active and focused learning is more likely to give students confidence and enable us to be sure they have grasped the basic essential knowledge and skills than traditional anachronistic university style lectures. Knowledge is less important than ability to find and use knowledge
