Personal profile

Research interests

For the last 5 years my research has been centred upon Earth Observation and biodviersity. With extensive skillsets within multispectral remote sensing and geographical information systems for the assessment of sUAS (drone) and satellite data. Further research applications include LIDAR systems for urban site development opportunities and flood modelling.

Having completed BSc and MSc studies at the University of Brighton my research has continued with a funded PhD partnership between the University of Brighton and NIAB-EMR. My thesis aims to develop the integration of remote sensing for biodiversity assessment within the vineyard. Identifying the importance of biodiversity and the relationship this holds with grape yield and quality will be a key contribution to both remote sensing and viticultural knowledge.
