Research interests

Dr. Manolia Andredaki received her M.Eng. Degree in Civil Engineering from Department of Civil Engineering, Division of Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics, Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) in Greece in 2004. She also holds an M.Sc. Degree in “Hydraulic Mechanics” as well as an M.Sc. Degree in “New Material and Technologies in the Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures” and a PhD Degree in Mathematical Modelling of Suspended Sediment Transport, from the same department, received in 2005, 2007 and 2014, respectively.  She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and a Chartered Engineer since 2004. She has been involved in various national and international research projects working as a Research Associate in DUTH and as a Temporary Lecturer in Kavala Institute of Technology, in Greece. She also has a long-term experience working as an Engineer in the private and public sectors. Since February 2016 she has been working as a Research Fellow at the Multi-Phase Thermofluids Laboratory (MPTL) of the Advanced Engineering Centre (AEC), in the School of Computing Engineering and Mathematics in University of Brighton (CEM) performing CFD simulations of two-phase flows with heat and mass transfer.
