Research interests

My research interests focus on experimental heat transfer and two-phase flows. Pulsating Heat Pipes provide a perfect platform for both basic physics investigation of diabatic two-phase phenomena and a promising solution for the thermal management of complex space systems. I have developed experience in experiment design, payload integration, experimental matrix definition, data collection and post-processing on several ESA Parabolic Flight Campaigns. I am also working to secure new research in the field (e.g. in flexible or deployable thermal control systems for space and ground applications) and obtain access to microgravity platforms (Parabolic Flight, Drop Tower) for answering fundamental question related to the behaviour of two-phase fluids in microgravity.
