Liz Hawkins is a senior lecturer in Marketing at School of Business and Law in University of Brighton. She holds Ba in Marketing and MSc in Marketing with Communications and Branding from University of Brighton. Liz is a member of both the CIM and CMI and holds a PG Certificate in Teaching and Learning (2019).
She is also a fellow in Higher Education Academy and is CMBE. Liz has over 20 years of experience in management and marketing in different industries such as Travel, Tourism and Financial Services as well as being a business and marketing consultant in various sectors over the past 15 years.
Liz Has extensive experience teaching across a range of marketing subjects including marketing principles, planning and strategy, marketing communications, competitive marketing, marketing analytics, digital marketing, digital customer experience, digital optimisation, innovation and futurism for marketers. Liz also teaches across a range of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) L6 modules including digital optimisation and digital customer journey and L4 modules covering campaign planning, digtial marketing and managing digital channels.
My current research focus, which I intend to use to complete my PhD by Publication, centres around social media marketing, advertising and this use of filters. Specific areas currently being explored include:
