Scholarly biography

I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Pusan National University (PNU), Busan, S. Korea. Currently, I am working at the School of Applied Science, University of Brighton as a research fellow. Before this role, I was working at the Department of Bioscience, University of Exeter, UK, as a scientific associate. I also served at the Department of Pharmacy University of Central Punjab, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor. During my academic career, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry, as a community pharmacy scientific writer and reviewer of reputed scientific journals. The combination of my education and practical experiences has boosted my confidence and improved my skills to adapt myself to the highly competitive and interdisciplinary field of electroanalytical chemistry. Pursuing novel and innovative research is an important personal goal in my career and I am passionate about tackling an evolutionary question from new directions. Based on the synergies of material science, I am interested in applying electroanalytical approaches in various fields such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, 3D printing technology, and pharmaceutical sciences.
