Her on-going enthusiasms are typography, ephemera, collecting, artist’s books and picture books of all types. She has been involved in design education at many levels including foundation, BA and community arts. She is currently a tutor on the MA Sequential Design/Illustration and MA Arts and Design by Independent Project courses at the University of Brighton and and is developing a schools project introducing Key Stage 2 pupils to design. She is a member of D&AD and has been a serving juror for Books and Publications.
Morgan enjoys both collaborative and self-initiated projects with other designers, illustrators, historians and writers. She is co-art director with illustrator David Downton on a journal of fashion illustration and they have just completed the book 21, documenting Downton's drawing of Haute Couture shows in Paris. Through Oddstock Books Morgan produces occassional artist’s book projects, with examples of her work in the Center for British Art at the Yale University Library. She is currently researching scrapbooks and their links to narrative, memory and creativity.
