Personal profile

Scholarly biography

I am a lecturer in architecture at the University of Brighton, currently teaching design studio and technologies. Prior to joining Brighton, I have taught architecture at the University of Manchester and the University of Lancaster, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

I am also a UK registered architect (ARB) with experience in the design and delivery of medium and large-scale commercial and residential projects, both within the UK and internationally.

Research interests

My research lies at the intersection of data, emerging technologies and architecture and their effect on human perceptions within the built environment. I am specifically interested in the use of computational design approaches to develop algorithms, tools, and workflows that aid the creation, analysis and evaluation of architectural spaces.
