Personal profile

Research interests

With a background in design theory and practice, my research is primarily concerned with the political dimension of the act of use and how this ties in with questions of collectivity and organisation. In this work, I deploy design as an epistemic lens and mode of intervention through which to explore and prefigure new forms of sociality. Addressing these topics by means of a transdisciplinary and multi-method approach, my research often combines conceptual, material, and performed experimentation. Key interests are theories of collectivity and critiques of individualism, prefigurative politics, critical logistics, critical border studies, affect studies.
