Personal profile

Research interests

As a dedicated renal nurse with a strong background in nephrology, I am passionate about advancing the field of haemodialysis care. My research interests focus on evaluating the critical link between the reassessment of nursing staff techniques for needling arterio-venous fistula and the connection of patients to haemodialysis machines using haemodialysis catheters. I aim to investigate how these practices impact haemodialysis access-related complications, striving to enhance patient outcomes and reduce the incidence of adverse events.

Additionally, I am deeply interested in exploring the patient experience regarding their haemodialysis access care. Understanding patient's perspectives and experiences is crucial for developing patient-centred care strategies that improve overall satisfaction and quality of life for those undergoing haemodialysis.
