Research interests
I am a PhD Researcher in Health Sciences. My current research project focuses on the impact of social media on the mental well-being of adolescents and their parents.
I am also a Psychology A-level Examiner for AQA and I teach and mark various undergraduate Psychology modules at UoB.
I was the PGR Rep in the ESH Doctoral School for the academic year of 24/25 and I've been involved in various Research & Knowledge Exchange events and meetings.
My BA is in Psychological & Behavioural Sciences, which I completed at the University of Cambridge.
My main research interests centre around Health Sciences and Psychology.
I am particularly interested in:
- mental health and mental well-being
- adolescent and child development
- psychopathology
- health psychology
- digital psychology
- mindfulness
- positive psychology
- and neuroscience.

Approach to teaching
I am involved in the teaching (seminars, lectures, workshops) of the following undergraduate Psychology (BSc) modules in the School of Humanities and Social Science: Developmental Psychology, Psychology of Well-Being, Introduction to Applied Psychology, Psychological Investigations: Becoming an Independent Researcher, Introduction to Psychological Research Methods. I have also previously examined assessments submitted for the SE590 Sport and Exercise Psychology Module in the School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences.
