David Hayter

David is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and supervisor, registered with both UKCP and BACP.  He qualified as a psychodynanic counsellor from Birkbeck College and subsequently as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the University of Kent.

Recently he has been working with a rehabilitation service for firefighters and as a clinical supervisor for Chichester Counselling Service. He was formerly the director of a counselling charity in Kent, ran GP based counselling services across east Kent and was clinical manager of a counselling service in Thanet.  His previous university experience was as senior lecturer and programme director at Canterbury Christchurch University.
