Daniel Crabtree

Menswear designer Daniel Crabtree studied at Brighton before graduating from the MA course at Central Saint Martins in 2018, receiving the Samsung Design Fund and L'Oreal Professionnel Scholarships. His practice explores freehand pattern cutting, heritage and sustainable manufacture. 

Since his debut at the BFC showrooms at LFW February 2019 (sponsored by Peroni) he has continued to exhibit work seasonally, including at Paris Men's Fashion Week January 2020 and as part of the BFC's digital DiscoveryLAB in February 2021. His work has been comissioned and worn by artists such as Ashnikko, English Teacher and Porij.

Daniel previously taught at Winchester School of Art where he also held the role of Co-Director of Programmes for Fashion and Textiles. He worked at the University of Portsmouth and led the third year of the BA (Hons) Fashion Atelier and Tailoring course at UCA before joining  University of Brighton as Course Leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Design with Business Studies.
