Scholarly biography

Chinwe is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), a Research Fellow at the University of Brighton (UOB) and a Fellow of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution (Mediation Committee).  Chinwe graduated with a Merit in LLM-Dispute Resolution at Kingston University London in 2014; a PhD in Traditional African Method of Settling Disputes (TAMSD) / Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the University of Brighton (UOB), UK.

She participated in a Six (6) month course in Humanities- Religion, Conflict and Peace at Harvard University online learning taught by Professor Diane L. Moore; she also trained with Growcasts Podcast, USA, led by Mark Metry in 2020.

Chinwe attended the 10th lecture of the Online lecture series conducted by Nivaaran-Mediators of the Supreme Court of India on the topic "How to Design, Organize, and Facilitate Diagolues over Difficult, Divisive, and Dangerous Issues" on 20th August 2021. The Speaker on this occasion was Professor Kenneth Cloke, Mediator & Arbitrator. She also participated in the Ponevents @law.harvard.edu  on "Our Brains at War: The Neuroscience of Conflict and Peacebuilding" by Professor Mari Fitzduff.  

Chinwe is an ADR Blogger and the Host of Expert Views on ADR (EVA) Vid / Podcast Show. The blog/ vid/ podcast focuses on simplifying the Traditional African Method of Settling Disputes (TAMSD) or the  Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) in a bid to get more people to opt for or settle their disputes or conflicts with Mediation, Arbitration, Collaborative Law, Restorative Justice, Conciliation, Adjudication, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and Early Neutral Evaluation.  

She is an Accredited Mediator, Arbitrator and a Podcast Trainer / Consultant.

Her research interest focuses on ADR, TAMSD, Dispute Resolution, Conflict Resolution, ADR /TAMSD Podcasting, Socio-Legal Analyses, Access to Justice, Business Law, Contract Law, Law, Society and Ethics, Employment Relations, Stoic & Tao Philosophy,  Human Resource Management, Mass Awareness Advocacy in ADR, Workplace Conflict, Bullying, Discrimination, Harassment, Religion, Conflict and Peace.
