Research interests

Bayode is a senior lecturer in data science and analytics at the University of Brighton. He teaches data science and analytics related modules in computing and mathematics subject group. Prior to joining the University of Brighton, he was a lecturer in data analytics at Sheffield Hallam University. His research interests are in natural language processing and statistical learning applications. Bayode is particularly interested in the development of algorithms and models for sentiment analysis, topic modelling, text summarisation,  and language processing to detect cyberbullying and other forms of online abuse.

Bayode is interested in supervising research projects in the areas of natural language processing, statistical learning application, text data mining, and information retrieval.
