Roz Sklar

Research interests

Rosalyn Sklar's research is in the field of the history of medicine (with particular reference to the early modern period), Shakespeare's work, life, times and legacy, heritage and memory, and museum and heritage studies. Rosalyn's PhD, 'Healing Women: Early modern women as healers in their own texts, practices and representations' examines the female medical practitioners of 17th-century rural Warwickshire within the context of women's expression of the body, health and healing during the period.

Rosalyn has over 16 years' experience in the museum, archive and library sector.
