The Communication and Creative Ecologies REG examines pressing global challenges through the lens of creative practice across the arts, design and media. It brings together researchers from across the disciplines to employ new ways of thinking, communicating, engaging, creating and practising that are required in the face of industrial and economic change and its effects on society and the planet.
With research expertise that draws on design industry experience, media practice and a range of creative, communicative responses, the Communication and Creative Ecologies REG explores the implications of change across the uses of fossil fuels and their alternatives, new materials, renewables, and the pursuit of more equitable and just societies. It is dedicated to fostering practicable knowledge exchange with partners outside higher education, building relationships between academia and a range of related industries, community groups and practitioners.
