The Business and Economic Change Research Excellence Group aims to understand how individual behaviour, activities from organisations, allocation and distribution from market process, and social and economic policy intervention can support responsible enterprise and a prosperous, fair and sustainable economy and society. Our work in research and knowledge exchange engages with local and national communities, businesses, as well as national and international policy, and their capacity to bring about positive change in production and consumption and resolve to inequalities in prosperity and opportunities. The activity is resourced by staff time dedicated to research activity, projects with third party funding, commissioned research and Knowledge Exchange (KE) projects. Outputs from our research contribute to academic periodicals and monographs, research reports for policy and further dissemination and events, which aim to make an impact on policy and practice.
