Title: Where to Publish: Navigating Citation Databases and Journal-Level Metrics
Abstract: In this workshop, Barbara will introduce the two primary abstract and citation databases: Web of Science and Scopus, along with their respective journal indexing methods and tools, Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and Scopus Sources. She will also show the Scimago Journal & Country Rank website, a free resource that utilises Scopus data to provide a prestige metric indicative of journal reputation (SJR). This information can be instrumental in evaluating a journal's standing in relation to its peers.
