Description
This event celebrates the release of a final report relating to a two-year research project, based in Stoke-on-Trent, that explored the effectiveness of arts-based Transformative Justice workshops in creating stronger connections between women with convictions and the communities around them. The aim was to establish whether Transformative Justice can increase connectivity within and between communities, making them stronger, more equal, and more connected. The project leads will outline the nature of the participatory research, describe the creative and innovated mixed methodology used and provide an overview of the findings including the formation of the Hopeful Justice Collective. The research has also been used to develop a toolkit and the event will provide an opportunity to sign up for a training programme.
