Description
The interview discusses my early days as a young boy running around the woods and fields of North West Essex, accidentally bumping into the City of London and realising I wasn't living in an untamed wilderness (aged 8). I also discuss my 30+ year career teaching, researching and trying to practice a more sustainable, low carbon and regenerative architecture - from my work with Ian McKay (Greenwich Millennium Village, the UK's first public straw bale building, etc) through to my books 'The RE-Use Atlas (out now RIBA Publishing) and 'The Pedagogies of Re-Use' (out now Routledge Taylor & Francis Group), to my recent work with RIBA and the UK NZC Buildings Standard.
