New York based Supernature Labs is described as a global ecosystem of designers, architects, urbanists, city futurists, engineers, neuroscientists, strategists, technologists and activists addressing the need for sustainable and regenerative urban communities. Working with established trans-national engineering practices, practitioners such as Buro Happold, it has developed proposals for alternative urban infrastructure design. I was invited to join a team established by Dr Mike Wells to review and critique Supernature Labs urban design strategies in relation to biodiversity and food productive landscapes, prior to a presentation by Supernature Labs at COPP 28 UN Climate Change Conference to be hosted by the UAE from November to December 2023.
