Redressing History

Activity: EventsOutreach and Public Engagement

Description

Redressing History: If Dress Histories were actually global, would they look different?

Redressing History centres on a series of podcasts which seek to foreground the dress and textile history of BIPOC groups (currently under-represented, and often overlooked, within publications, academia, museums and the media).
The episodes will facilitate dialogue between researchers and staff within the School of Humanities, and figures whose research or practice engages with and foregrounds BIPOC dress and textile histories.
