Race & ethnicity in Green Social Prescribing policy

Activity: External talk or presentation › Invited talk

Description

Laura Mitchell is a final year PhD student at the University of Brighton. Her research examines how knowledges of race and ethnicity are reproduced, and to what effect, in Green Social Prescribing policy. She will share her research process, and some key findings on the ‘absent presence’ of race and the journey of racialised discourses. She hopes that her findings can be useful and that by bringing the findings into dialogue with Natural England, the implications of her work can be discussed.
