Description
FieldWiz is a strategy and physical performance measuring tool for football players - a standalone device worn on a player’s back to collect statistics, which are synchronized at the end of the game or practice.We carried out validity and reliability testing; assessing for any differences against current GPS systems for measures of distances, speeds and movement patterns associated with team sports.
After assessing numerous participants over several days, we were able to conclude that the new FieldWiz GPS device is valid and reliable for measurements of total distance covered and peak speed during a range of movement patterns.
