Glenn Longden-Thurgood was a member of the steering group for a three-day international conference dealing with issues of inhabitation, enclosure and containment. He also ran a summer school on the theme of occupation in collaboration with Toby Aimes [broadcaster, film-maker and photographer]. Students from Australia and Brighton worked together to create a series of short films exploring occupied space in Brighton. The films were exhibited at Lighthouse in Brighton at the end of the conference.
