Many of you will be familiar with Sumita and Duncan’s tireless work around all aspects of material use, circularity and ethical sourcing. Sumita is well known for her work with Charushila, the environmental design charity and for her authorship of Thrive: A field guide for women in architecture. Duncan was a pioneer of re-use in his design and construction of the Brighton Waste House and has enjoyed a thirty year association as a principal and senior lecturer with the University of Brighton.
