This public talk took place as part of Aberdeen Art Gallery Lunchtime Talks series. The talk presented an illustrated slideshow of images resulting from practice based research undertaken over a six year period concentrated on a woodland near Nairn on the Moray coast of Scotland. In the talk Fergus Heron discussed his inspiration for the project, including photographs and paintings in the Archives, Gallery & Museums collection and the writings of Nan Shepherd that situate the research in context, as well has his working process.| Period | 2 Apr 2025 |
