Description

Kent Graduate Law Conference – University of Kent (June 2025)
I was invited to participate in the 13th Annual Kent Graduate Law Conference, held at the University of Kent. The conference theme, Rethinking Justice: Evaluating Legal Responses to the Polycrisis, brought together early-career researchers, academics, and students to explore critical legal challenges in a time of intersecting global crises.

As part of the conference programme, I co-led a screening and Q&A session for the documentary Small Boats: The Border Conundrum, which I co-produced. The session opened up a lively discussion on media narratives, legal framing, and cross-border policy responses to irregular migration.

The event offered a stimulating platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and was a valuable opportunity to engage with emerging legal scholarship on justice, legitimacy, and the role of law in addressing complex global issues.
