Interdisciplinary conference: "Making Sense: from Plague to Pandemic"

  • Sophie Ungerer (Participant)

Activity: EventsConference

Description

Work in progress presentation in collaboration with Dr Sibylle Erle (BGU, Lincoln) and Dr Makrina Agaoglou (ICMAT, Spain) on our inter-disciplinary project 'Perceptions of Death in Collective Memory: Numbers | Spaces | Text' (funded by AlumNode). Death is an interdisciplinary topic. Our project developed through collaboration and was sustained by a three-way dialogue. We brought different skillsets and introduced each other to different academic points of view so that we could each generate a response to Blake’s “London”, while processing the real-world issue of COVID and its impact on human relations.
