Humanizing Research Evidence in Education: What it is, why it matters and how we can do it.

Activity: External talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

In his keynote, Keith Turvey asks: How meaningful and sustainable can teachers’ and teacher educators’ relationships with research evidence be, if research evidence has been dehumanised? In this presentation, the humanisation of research evidence will be critically examined as a way of constructing teachers’ pedagogical provenance through research. Pedagogical provenance is defined here as the potential of research evidence to afford meaningful, sustainable and ethical use within praxis.
