House of Commons Reception and Report Launch: A Coast for All – Barriers and Opportunities for Inclusive Beach Access

Activity: EventsEvent

Description

Presented findings from A Coast for All, a national report produced through a collaboration between the University of Brighton and the Beach Access Project. The report analysed findings from the Beach Access Project National Survey, which gathered responses from 1,071 people living with disabilities, long-term health conditions and additional access needs across the United Kingdom.

The event brought together MPs, policymakers, researchers, charities, coastal organisations, accessibility advocates and community stakeholders to discuss barriers and opportunities for inclusive beach access, alongside recommendations for future policy and practice. In addition to presenting the findings, I led the organisation and delivery of the House of Commons launch event, coordinating stakeholders, communications and dissemination activities in support of the report's national launch.
