Description
This presentation reflects on the organisation of the Everyday Resistance conferences.
The key points we wish to raise are: • Organisation: the way we worked together and with speakers, artists, funders and others; our different sources of funding, how we accessed them and how they helped with the running of the events; our organisation in disseminating the call for papers. • Inclusivity: reaching out to researchers across the globe; working with speakers to help with travel and visas or joining online; creating a space that is accessible to all participants. • Themes and topics discussed at the conferences: panel themes; discussions led by speakers and attendees; our own takeaways from it.
We hope this can be a time for us to reflect on the event and the opportunities open to PhD students through COREs funding.
