I delivered a lightning talk as a presenter at the Education and Student Experience Conference 2025. Presentation title: Beyond borders: transformative learning in international settings. This session, co‑presented with student Ollie Martin (BA Journalism), explored the impact of integrating international experiences into the journalism curriculum through an educational trip to the Netherlands, including visits to the ICC in The Hague, reporting activities in Amsterdam, the World Press Photo exhibition, and coverage at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
