    Description

Our Machines is a series of exhibitions celebrating new media technologies within the arts. There have been two exhibitions so far that bring together a selection of international, inter-generational artists who work with moving image, performance and sound art. The exhibitions took place at the Observer Arts in Hastings and the Brighton Digital Festival in 2016. The title of the exhibition and related events come from a quote from Cyborg Manifesto by Donna Harraway (1991): "Our machines are disturbingly lively, and we ourselves frighteningly inert.” (193-4)
