During my role as BBS interim Manager, I was involved in conducting the Risk Assessment of all BBS owned offices at Mithras House with the guidance of the H&S department and support from Estates. This was conducted as a high-scale risk assessment and in COVID times. While the nature of my work and the disciplines I teach do not currently imply risks, I am highly familiar with the university’s and the School’s policies in terms of risk assessment. In addition, I have completed the university’s required safety awareness training. I carried out risk assessments when considering trips with students for my Module Outlines, inviting guest speakers as well as considering the legal implications involved in working in some aspects of the law and events such as confidentiality of information, school reputation and BREAM expectations.
