Conference Workshop: Hwb DigiFest 2025 - Welsh Government

I was honoured to be invited by the Welsh Government to lead a workshop at the HWB Digifest 2025, online conference. The aim was to showcase my pedagogical approaches and specialist VFX skills through a free workshop for all educators across Wales.

My session, "Get started with Adobe Substance 3D: a beginner's creative workshop," demonstrated how to texture a CG model using Adobe Substance Painter Participants not only learned technical skills in the process of Texture Painting, but also the power storytelling techniques, design and the powerful links between STEM subjects and the arts, when working within the VFX and Gaming sectors. We also covered pedagogical techniques for engaging with students through an activity such as this.
